I grew up playing the sport and working out with Colorado State University Baseball at Pueblo. I played all four years on the Varsity level at Centennial High School in Pueblo, Co. I ranked number 8 in batting average and number 3 in homeruns as a junior in the South Central League that consisted of 8 teams. I also led my team in all offensive and defensive categories. At the end of my junior year I attended a scouting work out in Las Vegas, Nevada that included 8 Major League Teams. My senior year I battled through two leg injuries but was able to lead my team and again rank number 8 in batting average with an above .400 batting average. I ended my high school career batting .427.
After I finished playing I took a year off and I began coaching sports for the YMCA. I also currently coach the Point Loma Colt League Team (17 under). I have worked with over 100 17 and under kids at the YMCA 6 to 6 program, Point Loma High School Baseball Program and available for private lessons.
